Our church office is a hub of constant activity. When you go into the office you’ve probably noticed someone tucked back in the corner working on church mailings, folding bulletins, stuffing bulletins, preparing the newsletter for mailing and other tasks. That someone is Jack Frankland. And when Susan is away from the office Mary Berthold, Audrae Richards, Hailey Whitewater and others, are there to fill in the void. All of them are very important to our churches overall operation. We thank each of them so much for their outstanding contributions in helping make everything run smoothly.

Dennis Crow and Deb Schwartz plan and serve all of our "Wonderful Wednesdays" meals, and for those of you who haven’t had a chance to partake of their delicious delicacies you are missing a real treat. Others who work in a supportive role with general clean-up, dishwashing, and coffee making are Kathy Hendricks, Phil and Char Brereton, Mike Dvorak, Mike Sharpee, and Don Easley. Without all of these people our meal ministry would not be possible.

As most of you probably know by now, the church has purchased a NEW used 15-passenger van that includes a wheelchair lift. This was made possible by all of you who contributed to the van fundraising project. Of special note was the work done by Andy Hankins in finding the van as well as Joe Zeimet and Ralph Luck who traveled with Andy to West Virginia to pick up the van and bring it back to our church. It is a welcomed addition to our church and community outreach ministries.

The Stephen Ministry training is moving forward very nicely. After 50 hours of training 10 Stephen ministers will be commissioned on Palm Sunday. Penny Schmiedlin has organized and led the ministry training. Thanks Penny for all the time and energy you have provided in bringing the Stephen Ministry to our church.

Appreciation and thanks is extended to everyone, church members, children, friends, and staff who contribute to the ministries and mission of our church. Working together in the name of Jesus Christ we can have a positive impact on the lives of one another and our community. We are all "Called to Serve." If there is a person(s) or group you would like to recognize for service provided through the church leave a note of recognition in the Administrative Council mailbox in Fellowship Hall so that their service can be acknowledged.
