February
FOCUS ON MISSION
Zambia (Mujila Falls)
Agricultural Project
Our special February offering will
provide Paul Webster with the funds needed to continue this vital
mission. An envelope will be provided Sunday, February 7th.
You may use it any time during February. Thank you for your generous gifts
totally $1991 for the support of this project in 2009. Through the general
budget you also contributed $2500 towards Paul’s salary.
In December, Paul wrote “We
are counting our blessings here at Mujila Falls. Much has been
accomplished in the past 12 months. Your prayers and your gifts have not
been expended in vain. Each day here we are making progress in producing more
food, training more people, building a better training center, and bringing
people to the knowledge of Jesus Christ…”

United
Methodist Gifts Through Advance For Haiti
The generosity
of United Methodists has been evident. In less than one week, donations
through Advance #418325, Haiti Emergency,
had surpassed $2,000,000. Gifts made through local congregations and
annual conferences will add to this total.

Belize
Medical Mission
Thank you to all that contributed to
the Belize Medical Mission for Dave & Andrew Ebert. Dave & Andrew
should be in sunny Belize in January 2010, when you are reading this.
We collected just about $810 for
them to purchase medicines to take with them on this trip.
Update
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. We
have had a safe and rewarding stay in Belize. Upon returning to Lodi, I
purchased more needed medications with the remaining donations from the
congregation. The children get a lot of skin infections and the liquid
antibiotic is in short supply.
Peace,
Dave & Andrew Ebert
